Notice!!! – This web site isn't updated very often. But the forest is still there. And the municipality is still threatening, wanting to push through a new road to the Island Highway, opening up 'north' Chemainus. Planners, engineers and developers are drooling. Council is scratching its head, letting its planning department – rather than its citizens – set the agenda. But the forest is still there, doing just fine at the moment.
